Install
pipx install superclaudeSuperClaude Framework is a meta-programming configuration framework for Claude Code. It injects behavioral instructions and slash commands that turn Claude Code into a more structured development platform, covering the lifecycle from brainstorming to deployment with 30 commands under the /sc: prefix.
Who it is for
Claude Code users who like explicit, command-driven workflows and want a ready-made set of lifecycle commands instead of designing their own. It suits solo developers and small teams who want consistent habits without writing a custom setup.
What it does
After installation you get commands such as:
/sc:brainstorm: structured brainstorming./sc:research: deep web research, enhanced with the Tavily MCP server./sc:implement: code implementation./sc:test: testing workflows./sc:pm: project management./sc: list all 30 commands.
Install
From the README (current stable v4.3.0):
pipx install superclaude
superclaude install
Optional MCP servers:
superclaude mcp --servers tavily --servers context7
Verify with superclaude install --list and superclaude doctor, then restart Claude Code. A git clone plus ./install.sh is the alternative. The /plugin install shown in some places is for the unreleased v5.
Example usage
/sc:brainstorm a usage-based billing feature for our API
/sc:research current best practices for Postgres row-level security
/sc:implement the plan in docs/billing.md
/sc:test the billing module
Tips and limits
- Opinionated: it changes how Claude approaches work. Try it on a side project first.
- Commands and instructions add context; measure with ccusage before and after.
- Overlaps with skill frameworks like Superpowers; running both can produce conflicting workflows.
- Commands still need your review; structure is not verification.
