git clone https://github.com/automazeio/ccpm.gitCCPM (Claude Code PM) from Automaze is a spec-driven development workflow for AI agents. It gives your agent a structured project-manager brain: ideas become PRDs, PRDs become technical epics, epics become GitHub issues, and issues are executed by multiple agents in parallel. Its core rule is “no vibe coding”: every line of code traces back to a written spec.
What it does
The workflow runs in five phases: PRD creation, epic planning, task decomposition, GitHub sync, and parallel execution. You trigger it in plain language:
| You say | CCPM does |
|---|---|
| “I want to build X” | Brainstorming and PRD creation |
| “break down the X epic” | Parallelizable task files with dependencies |
| “sync the X epic to GitHub” | Epic issue, sub-issues and a worktree |
| “start working on issue 42” | Stream analysis and parallel agents |
| “standup” | Instant status report from project files |
Install
CCPM is a standard Agent Skill. Clone the repo and link the skill into your project:
git clone https://github.com/automazeio/ccpm.git
ln -s /path/to/ccpm/skill/ccpm .claude/skills/ccpm
Prerequisites: git and gh authenticated with gh auth login.
Use cases
- Plan a multi-week feature with a reviewable PRD and epic before any code.
- Split work into independent streams so several agents run without conflicts.
- Keep stakeholders informed through issue comments instead of chat logs.
Tips and limits
- Heavy process for small fixes; use it for features that need a spec.
- Parallel agents multiply token use; watch limits with Claude Code Usage Monitor.
- It writes to GitHub Issues, so test on a sandbox repo first.

Frequently asked questions
Is CCPM still a set of slash commands?
No. CCPM is now packaged as an Agent Skill that activates on project-management intent in natural language, across Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Cursor and others.
What does CCPM require?
git and an authenticated gh CLI, plus a GitHub repository for the project.
Why GitHub Issues instead of a separate tool?
Issues become the shared source of truth, so agents and humans can hand work back and forth with comments as the audit trail.
