theme-factory is an Anthropic example skill that gives Claude a curated set of professional themes, each with a color palette (with hex codes) and a header and body font pairing. Once you pick a theme, Claude applies it consistently to whatever it is making: slide decks, documents, reports or HTML landing pages.

Who it is for

Anyone producing decks, reports or one-pagers with Claude who wants polished, consistent styling without being a designer, and teams that want to standardize the look of AI-generated documents.

What it does

The skill defines a short, deliberate workflow:

1. Show theme-showcase.pdf, a visual overview of all themes.
2. Ask which theme you want.
3. Wait for explicit confirmation.
4. Read the theme file from themes/ and apply colors and fonts consistently, checking contrast and readability.

The 10 presets range from calm (Ocean Depths, Arctic Frost) to warm (Sunset Boulevard, Golden Hour) to bold (Tech Innovation, Midnight Galaxy). When none fit, Claude builds a custom theme in the same format.

Tips and limits

• The confirmation step is intentional; say “use Modern Minimalist” up front to skip the showcase.
• Presets are generic. For real brand guidelines, describe your palette and fonts and ask for a custom theme.
• Pairs well with pptx, docx and web-artifacts-builder.
